What am I obsessing about these days?? Oh just this RuckSack from Filson. Only the most perfect backpack EVER. Clean, classic, manly, with out being like REI water bottle/parachute/sleeping bag/and inflatable water raft all-in-one...back pack. I mean really, who needs that? I will make this pretty little pack mine, just you wait and see! I'll find all sorts of things to put in it: Lunches for work, weekend getaway over night bag, weekend exploring bag, oh the options are endless, ENDLESS! Okay, over and out.

Confession time. I have been passive aggressively hating tupperware for quite some time now. Every body owns it, I may even have a few pieces here and there that were bought when I graduated high school and braved college for the first time. I get it I guess, I mean storing food, whatever. But honestly, let's talk... I was doing the household dishes today and tupperware was spilling, SPILLING out of every nook and cranny of my kitchen! Why so much tupperware?? It's so hard to stack, I try placing it neatly in the cupboard and it inevitably comes crashing down in a cloudy plastic mess on the floor. You can never find the right lid because there's like a million different sizes and shapes..each requiring a different blue lid. Which brings me to my next question: Why is tupperware all the same color? It's like putting together one of those forest jigsaw puzzles. ANNOYING! Sigh...

And then there's the tupperware parties. That's right, PARTIES CENTERED AROUND TUPPERWARE! (shaking head in disapproval). Women have got some seriously wacky ideas of fun.

Well, that made me feel a little better. I won't hate you for loving tupperware, or using it, or packing your lunch in it, or whatever, but just know that from now on, I will aggressively hate tupperware. It should fear me when I'm on dishes week. That is all.

Dramatic much? Maybe a little.....

A Post about Beer.

I realized that I have never really done a post about my favorite beers. Why? No clue. I'm slacking, clearly. I was never a beer person, in fact the very smell made me a little sick to my stomach. Then one night I was at a get together and I had a beer, I actually can't even remember what kind it was...It was in a green bottle which leads me to believe that it was cheap and probably not something that I would order now. But I will be forever grateful to that beer because after that I fell in love. My family loves wine and I spent the last few years going to vineyards and tasting and learning about different wines. I enjoy it, but not completely. In fact, I'm actually sort of a wimp when it comes to wine--I favor the whites and blushes. But with beer, I just started trying different ones and completely fell in love with it. I can pick out the flavors and understand it so much more then I can understand wine. I came to realize the I love hoppy beer. If it's got a nice bitter flavor then I'm sold. I also really like stouts and porters which probably comes from my love of coffee...that's a completely different story. The only type of beer that I have tried and have yet to get into are the sours. I just can't enjoy them. I tried I really did...

I started home brewing which has been a great new hobby and really educational. I find that for me, I need to do something or make something if I really want to learn about it. It helps me understand it so much more and I can appreciate it better. I don't really know where I'll go with brewing, but for now I'm just enjoying new styles and slowly trying new things. Thus in a round about way, bringing me to the actual point of my blog post: Some of my favorite beers. Not an exclusive list, but more of a "this-is-what-came-to-me-off-of-the-top-of-my-head..list". It's not exactly well rounded because I don't have all of my favorite types included, but they are for sure my go to beers and a few new ones that I've recently tried and enjoyed.

#1. Three Philosophers. This beer is so enjoyable to drink and is really well rounded. There are no over powering flavors which makes it a great beer to enjoy with food in my opinion.

#2. Moylans Hop Sickle Imperial Ale. I about died and went to heaven the first time I had this beer. Oh man. Probably by far the hoppiest most hop-tastic beer I've ever had. A real kick in the pants.
#3. Pliny The Elder. This is a beer that I just recently tried. My friend and beer lover Jake told me about it originally. On Sunday I went to Beachwood BBQ in Seal Beach, and noticed that they had it on tap...HELLO! Had to get it. It has a flavor that I can't quite pin point...but I like it. Maybe one of the best IPA's I've ever had. There's talk of a Pliny the Younger coming out soon and I'm pretty stoked to find it on tap somewhere.
#4. Bear Republic Racer 5 India Pale Ale. Juuuust had this beer tonight actually. They had it on tap at Belmont Brew Company in Long Beach. Jake told me about this one too! A really nice Pale Ale. The bartender had me try their house pale ale, but realllly wasn't digging it. The house Pale was very bitter but in a bad way... Now don't get me wrong, I love bitter but it didn't have enough flavor or aroma to back it up. It was almost watery bitter...ew. But this one was spot on. Really flavorful and enjoyable.
#5. Old Rasputin Russian Imperial Stout. HAD TO INCLUDE THIS! Probably up there in my top 3 all time favorite beers. So full and wonderful and chocolaty. I just brewed a russian imperial stout and I'm really excited to try it. I bought a 4 pack of Rasputin to taste with my home brew so I can compare and contrast. Pretty excited about that.

After I spent the day thinking about photos and the significance of having a photo in your hands and not just on a computer screen, I decided to go through some of my boxes of pictures I had taken when I was younger. Most of my childhood photos are at my parents house in Oregon, but I managed to hang on to a few, and mostly ones that I took on my parents camera, or my Cannon point and shoot. Which speaking of, I found my old camera and brought it back to Long Beach with me, so if I can just get my hands on some film then I'll be golden. It's a newer cannon, and it's nothing fancy and definitely not ironic or vintage in any way, but it takes great pictures and I would love to start having some hard copies lying around, maybe throw together a few albums. Facebook albums just aren't cutting it for me lately. Maybe I'll get hooked and I'll become an obsessive scrap-booker. Like the kind that go to the monthly get togethers and join scrap booking societies. Sort of like tupperware parties for paper, stickers, and fancy scissors! Anyways, here are a few from my collection, enjoy.

The Perks of Fun-Employment

A lay-off from a job is a lot like a break-up. You were happy...maybe not in love, but really happy--content. Then he calls you up and says "let's get some coffee..."

You're thinking coffee?? Since when do we get coffee? Okay..

This is the part where he tells you that it's not you, it's him, he just doesn't have the budget for a girlfriend anymore. To that you say "What? But I cost pennies compared to your last girlfriends!"

Then you gather your things, get your music off of his computer, and take the walk to shame back to your car, box in hand.

All that being said, and now being over the "mourning" process, no more sleeping in half the day, no more booze and ice cream... I am now reaping the few, but precious perks of Fun-Employment.

1) I made a mix. Yeah yeah yeah, a little dramatic. but seriously, one of my best coping mechanisms. Here are a few songs off of my Fun-Employment mix:

2) I made more beer. Beer takes time...Time I have plenty of these days. Tyler came by on sunday and we brewed a Russian Imperial Stout. Very excited about this one.

3) I don't feel like I'm 22 going on 85 anymore. Let me explain: When I was working, I would get tired at like 9:00 at night. "Guys I gotta go to bed, I'm beat". But now I can stay up till 3 and wake up at 11...no problemo. Enjoying my youth.

4) More time to sew and make art.

5) I bought a book. I only like reading when I've got the time..vacations are prime reading time for me. I purchased East of Eden, which I have had recommended to me many many a time. 600 pages people! 600! I figure this will be my literature of choice for the next 2 years.

6) Unemployment checks. Obama extended the time available to receive unemployment, so I'm going to "cash" in on that..pun intended. Thanks Pres.

7) Budgeting skillz. This is the best time to perfect my money saving abilities. Joy.

8) I'm really stretching for this one (pun intended) but I suppose I have more time to work-out now. Although I didn't work out at Affliction even when I had a free gym and a personal trainer at hand....FAIL. But IT IS a perk non the less.

9) Assess The Situation..time. I can now figure out what I want to do next. The big question mark.

10) And last but certainly not least, I can go to Portfolio coffee house and update my blog more regularly and drink copious amounts of espresso. Like I'm doing right now...

Movie Update

Over Thanks Giving weekend I had the pleasure of watching 3 fabulous movies. The first was by director and master-creepy-mind David Lynch, Inland Empire. It was one of his tamer films which made it a little more enjoyable for me to watch. We were so inspired by the "Lynchian" way of directing, that we made our own version of Inland Empire. I'm sure Sister Dailey will be posting it on her blog Blinking Against the Brightness shortly.

Same face the whole movie. Brilliant.

The second movie we watched was called Ballast. I really enjoyed this film, but if you're into resolved endings and a strong plot line then I wouldn't suggest this movie. It's very slow and very realistic. There isn't much dialog or soundtrack either. I know i'm not making it sound very good, but honestly it was a beautiful movie and a really moving story.

Lastly, I went and saw Wes Anderson's new movie: The Fantastic Mr. Fox. Holy Moly! Such a good movie. All stop motion animation which is just such a feast for the eyes. You must go see this movie!

Titanic, ADVENTURE OUT OF TIME!!!

During my internet perusing this evening, I was trying to find the game Chips Challenge that I have such fond memories of playing on the old PC at mom and dad's house quite a few years ago. After not being able to find an online version that I could play, I remembered a game that I loved maybe even a little bit more than Chip's...Titanc: Adventure Out of Time. Now I don't consider myself a gamer by any means, my family to this day doesn't even own a dance dance revolution. The closest thing we came to mario bros, was computer games. I had all the good ones: Magic School Bus-Body Adventure, and Space Adventure. Then I graduated to the really good stuff and I purchased the Titanic game. This is no magic school bus my friends.
Visually INSANE. You could explore the entire ship and walk up to people and they would talk to you and give you clues. The goal of the game was to collect all of the special objects, get off the boat with out drowning, and to not get killed by one of the not so nice people on the ship.

I never actually made it to the sinking of the ship part because A: Our computer kept crashing due to the shotty software, and PC-ness of it all, B: Because this game took DAYS to play, and C: Because I could never seem to get past the scary man in the boiler room with the gun that would shoot and kill me every time. SO ANNOYING! And let me tell you, this game was creeeeepy. So scary. Honestly I think that David Lynch had a hand in developing it. Even the music and lighting was creepy.

All that to say, I sinserely miss this game and would give my right arm to have an updated version for my Mac. Hats off to you if you ever played it too.

Also also, Thanks Giving this weekend! Woooooo! I will be joining the Kemp Family for the first part in ArrowHead. Then on Friday I make the trek to Santa Maria for some Nelson family festivities. I love Thanks Giving and it just might make the ranking of my top three favorite holidays. The fall in general just cannot be beat. Halloween, my birthday, thanks giving, Christmas... SO GOOD.

On another topic, I was so proud of my self for starting my Christmas shopping in September. I find that every year I am scrambling to pull things together right before Christmas. Unfortunately I only bought one gift in september and since then have not lifted a finger. All that to say, I need to hustle up and figure things out before I have a gift giving meltdown. which in my opinion completely defeats the purpose of giving gifts. Yowza. Since I've now realized that this post has absolutely no rhyme or reason, I might as well leave with a list. Because who doesn't love lists?

Let's be honest. Today is a little bit slow. It's still raining though which makes me happier then I can express via blog or emoticon /: 0

I suppose today would be the perfect type of weather to go to a Los Angeles style pumpkin patch. Just enough drizzle and gray to actually resemble what might be mid October in sayyy the great north west. But then again, who are we kidding? What I didn't mention is that it's still 75 degrees outside. le sigh.

I've started early on my Christmas shopping this year. I am going to try my very best to A: have a well thought out gift for each of my immediate family members, and B: Have at least something for the ones that I always kick myself for forgetting about. hmmm. So that being said, I'm exploring the great wide world of online shopping. GLORIOUS. It's endless really. Between Etsy, borders, and taxidermy.com (so not a real website) I think I've got my bases covered. (Laurel you're not getting anything animal part related, so don't even get that thought in that little scheming brain of yours).

I know I know. Affliction. But forget the name for like 2 seconds and believe me when I say that the new Black Premium line is going to be bomb. The debut fall line is in stores now, and will be hitting online shortly. The Black Premium denim line is pretty wonderful also and I can't wait to get my hands on the Bianca Skinny with a DEER HEAD on the back pocket. Um yes. And just be excited for the spring 10 line because it's going to be bright and playful and perfect for people who normally can't stand Affliction. Promise.

p.s. Definitely wore the Iggy Cami (seen below) in Vegas during Project, and it was adorable.

Dear Friends,

I arrived home safe and sound from the city of sin.

Big spender.

I am officially not a Vegas Virgin anymore. Although, I never actually made it on to the strip...

I stayed at the Hard Rock Hotel for one night and one full day. Our company had the bowling suite on the 11th floor complete with pool table, hot tub, and full self service pre-paid not so mini-- mini bar.

Tuesday I went to Project and got to walk the show and indulge in some sweet fashion goodness. The people watching was premium. On the way back we flew Jet Blue which I had never done before, and let me tell you, I'm in love. What a great airline.

When I got home I was greeted by 3 large boxes on my bed containing my beer making kit, and a recipe for 5 gallons of California Pale Ale. Deeeeeelightful. I don't think I'll be starting the beer making process until I arrive home from the North Country next week. Speaking of Northern things, I will be flying home for a short weekend on friday morning, and then returning on Tuesday morning. It's been a long awaited trip and I'm so excited to spend some time up there. I've already made plans to spend friday in Portland with my family after they pick me up from the air port, and then either saturday or sunday I'm going out to the Oregon State Fair to see some horse showing and walk around. I believe monday will be a BBQ at my house with my grandma. Soooo Excited. So that about sums things up right now. I'll try and post some Vegas pictures some time this week.

Those stories are so vivid and engraved in my mind. Nothing is better then a story that lets your imagination go wild and it's the last thing you think about before you fall asleep. People, I am ruined. I went to Barns and Noble (bad idea) on my lunch break today, and naturally I glance over the "Architecture" section to see if there were any new tree house books. There was. Although their selection was a bit sad in size, I was lucky enough to find a tree house book that I don't already own. Glorious. Just opening it, the new book smell was overwhelming and fantastic. I sat at my desk and oooohed and ahhhhhed at every page. My heart pitter pattered like a teenager in love.

Tree houses are so magical. Little palaces scrapped together out of found objects and fairy dust. sigh....

North Coast Rasputin Imperial Stout

I had this beer last night at The Bottle Room in Up Town Whittier. The first sip tasted like a chocolate milk shake, but then after the head wore off a bit, it had slight blueberry flavor. I will definitely be hunting this one down at my local Bev Mo. I give it a 10. 10 for taste and 10 for alcohol content.

A Horse of Course!

I've been confronted recently on the fact that most people aren't too fond of the idea of having your pet horse turned into a rug. Or even more, having your own carcass preserved and used as a coat rack by the front door. Creepy? Okay maybe the coat rack idea, but honestly I love the idea of having a horse rug...natural death of course, nothing vial or inhumane. If you want to see an example of a horse hide rug, you can click on this web site. But I would never pay the $450 for a 26+ sq foot horse rug from this place because it says the hides come from peru, and I can only imagine the treatment of the animals...sketchy sketch. But all that to say, I love the idea, and when my dear pet horse dies of old age some day, he better look out because he might end up on the living room floor of my tree house.

1. Summer album ideas:

I haven't gotten very far on the album portion of my list, but I'm giving it time.

(SIDE NOTE: I totally had a dream last night where I met a really hot dentist, but then I found out he had children...ho hum.)

Not feeling very inspired...but I figured it might be nice to write something.

Oh yeah, at breakfast this morning I was reading a tree house book from my collection, and going through and marking all of the ones in Oregon, Washington, and California, and along the way I came across these lovely quotes. Enjoy.

Thirsty Isle

As many of you know, I have entered the Unpaid Intern phase of my life. Sometimes it's downright grimy, but sometimes....most times in the case of MatteBlack, it has its perks. Yesterday Paul and I went to Thirsty Isle, a pub in Long Beach. Dim lit, home of the 320z. Schooner, and 18 beers on tap. They boast of having the coldest beer in Long Beach, and I must say that I agree.

"We didn't just say we have the Coldest Beer in Town....We use Blizzard Beer System and pour Ice Cold Beer at 29 degrees!"

Although this bar is mostly a dude bar, okay and maybe a little skeezy...It's perfect for shooting some 50 cent pool and kicking it on a rainy day. Food is made fresh on order, and the swinging fluorescent lighting and wood floors provide for a divinely divey atmosphere. A Long Beach must.

Call it a fad, whatever, I love frozen yogurt. the tartness, the fruit toppings, LOVE IT. But there's something that I just can't handle....Fro yo, what is up with the annoyingly bright colors and ultra modern decor?? Why is every Frozen yogurt shop decked out in hideous shades of lime green and stark white plastic seating over a faux pebble floor? Frozen Yogurt, I will continue to love you, but something has GOT to be done about the interiors.....seriously.

I was trying to think of things I wanted to post, and then I came across this gem. The truth is, There's a lot to be said, but not the right time to say it. I've been working like mad on an application for continuing school, so I've been keeping myself busy with creative things. It's a little draining, but nothing that a good cup of coffee can't cure. This weekend has been a good one. I am realized more not then ever before how important my long beach family is, and how close we all are. I am lucky to be part of such a caring and selfless community of people. Much to ponder.

Yesterday was a surprising 80 degrees in Long Beach, which while not being unusual, was a nice switch from the january gloom that we had been experiencing the last few weeks. So what to do? Go for a bike ride I say! Laurel, Mike Ruffino, and myself went on a little excursion to the beach. Laurel rode her awesome new bike(Thanks margo!), I rode my Bentley boat bike, and we scrounged up a little bmx with front and rear pegs for mike. Sadly, mikes ghetto bike decided to check out early once we got to the beach, and we enjoyed the fizzling hum of the last of the air exiting the rear tire. Now what? Get some beer! We walked our bikes to the pier, past all of the fisherman, and bench sitters, to a hole in the wall drink and snack shack at the end of the pier. "Check out our back patio, it's a whole 'nother world back there."

Okay cool.

And it was. It was quite lovely, we found three stools and sat at the bar looking over the ocean and the big boats and the oil pumps? yes, still long beach we're talking about. Apparently they only had one glass of beer left, so our lovely restauranteer brought it out and let us have it on the house. Thanks man.

incidentally it was one of the best beers I've ever had. Ice cold.

Okay so now new sunglasses time. While hanging out with Paul, he noted that my cheap-O aviators were excessively crappy. He then went into his room and brought out about 4 pairs of sunglasses for me to try on. New pair of sunglasses, done. THANKS PAUL!!!

Okay let's start at the back. The gold earrings are ones that my dear old pops picked out for me for Christmas. I didn't even ask for earrings, he just used his good fatherly intuition and picked them out all by him self. I think he did an A+ job. Thanks dad!

Pair number 2: My friend Josh McBride has been traveling around South America for the last few weeks, and recently he sent the girls in my house a package of wonderful things that he had acquired in Peru. He got us all hand picked pieces of jewelry, a letter, a self portrait, and a jar of homemade strawberry jam by none other than the wonderful Pat and Jan McBride. Thanks Josh!!!

Yummy Recipe

This is a recipe that I found in real simple and I quite enjoy it. Here's the link to the recipe page for the first dish. The main dish is couscous with an apricot chicken salad. If you're making it in an off season for apricots, then I suggest using apples. Serves about 5 people, and is light and refreshing.

The dessert is an apricot butterscotch sauce over vanilla ice cream. Here's the link.

Both dishes go nicely with wine, but if you're wanting to stick with the apricot theme, then I would suggest an apricot ale.

Upon arriving to Oregon, I got creative with my coffee and it wound up being a master piece. here's what I suggest, it's an oldy but a goody.

Fill the cup 1/4 full with heated up egg nog

Fill the rest of the cup with coffee

Add whipped cream

Sprinkle with ground cinnamon and nutmeg

ta-da.

there you have it. Perfect for snowy mornings and frosty evenings in front of a fire.

Skirt: Jody Dailey...ha this is actually a funny skirt because I totally flunked this project because I found out when I turned it in that I was supposed to make a dress or shirt, not a skirt. And then the best part was that the next week's project was a high waisted skirt....LAME.

Dress: Jody Dailey. Oliver's clothing is all his own. The belt, the fur, and the shoes are Laurel's. This was a dress that I made for the American Heart Association, as an awareness piece for heart disease. This one is just the mock up, so it's in blue. The final one will be in red and debuted at the year end luncheon.
Robot coat: Jody Dailey. This is one of my favorites. I made this coat for my final project in my final quarter of school. It's 100% wool with a silk lining.

Dress: 100% stone wash silk, silk chiffon lining.

Okay so I know it's been a while. I'm guilty as charged. My sister told me this would happen, I would get a blog, write every day for a week and then fall off the face of the earth. I hate it when she's right. But I'm going to try and be better about it now that I"m done with school. That's right, DONE.

How to nurse a homework hangover

The weekend was spent doing homework..with the exception of Jess's incredible engagement at beatnik, and the party that came afterword. And as much as I thought I got done in advance, the day before it's due is always INSANE, because you realize that I should have cut sleep out of my schedule weeks ago in order to get it all done. So, I woke up at 8am on tuesday and immediately began working. I worked into the evening and then transplanted my life and work space to downtown LA at a friends apartment. You see, she had a special sewing foot that I needed to hem my dress. Anyways. I got there and basically sewed until 9 in the morning. I took a shower, and headed out the door for class. We ended up having a 6 hour critique of our work that day, and I now know why military uses sleep deprivation as an interrogating technic. I got home and fell asleep on the couch. some time later I think one or all of my roommates tried to get me to go to my bed, but that part is a little fuzzy. Needless to say, today I have that headache that you get when you first wake up, and it just sort of lingers. I also have extremely sore legs, I think this is because the sewing machine has this knee pedal that you push to lift the foot, and I was using it all night. odd. Anyways, so if you ever have a home work hang over, then take these remedies into consideration before you hit the bottle.

Remedy #1

COFFEE. Make a strong cup of coffee. The caffeine will help your headache and wake you up. Or if you don't like coffee, then try yerba mate tea, it is a wonderful source of all day energy.

Remedy #2

SHOWER. This is simple, but it helps.

Remedy #3

TAKE A WALK OR RIDE A BIKE. Fresh air helps clear the head, and especially when you've been stuck in the house for days on end.

Remedy #4

WATCH SOMETHING MINDLESS. Today I watched about two different "Judge....yata yata fill in the blank" shows. my favorite was this young judge and I cant remember his name, but he was hot. I suppose a movie could fill in this spot too.

Remedy #5

CLEAN. I know it doesn't sound very soothing, but sometimes it's just nice to get your life back in order and not feel so entrenched in filth.

Remedy #6

BLOG. Blog about the things that you should be doing, but actually you're(I'm) just sitting on the couch and writing about things that would help. I think I just debunked my helpful tips in that last sentence. hoy. Time to go take a shower.

So for my Brand Identity class we had to partner with a graphic design student and create a brand. The fashion design student is responsible for designing a 48 piece collection and then making 4 of the garments. The graphic student comes up with the logo, look book, hang tags/size tickets, shopping bag, and anything else that might be graphically useful for the brand. The constraints are that the collection and the brand have to be completely eco-friendly and organic. Anyways, my graphic partner is awesome and she already got organic t-shirts and tote bags embroidered, AND 4 different hang tags. She's awesome. So here's the T and tote bag, and hopefully I'll have photos of the finished garments and collection in the next month or two when they're complete.

It rained in LA today. I was walking back from the fashion district and large drops kept falling one by one on my face and then all of the sudden it was all out raining. Not pouring, but enough to make the pavement give off that intoxicating rain scent. My roommates decided that today would be a great day to start celebrating Christmas...so I was awoken this morning by Bing Crosby singing the drummer boy. Pa-RUM-pum-pum-PUMMMM. They then proceeded to make christmas decorations for the house. It felt funny. I don't usually celebrate christmas until the day after thanksgiving. I think it wrong to rob thanks giving of a proper build up. It gets shafted year after year. Well not this year, Thanksgiving, this goes out to you! This year I'm your number one fan and I will celebrate you and the indians and the pilgrims too. Eat that Christmas!

So some of you may already know about the "rat saga" that has been going on in my house for the last couple of weeks. But for the rest of you who don't, let me quickly fill you in:

It is my belief that there are in fact a colony of rats living in the walls and ceiling of my bedroom. Let me clarify, not IN my room, AROUND my room. I know this because I can hear them scurrying around at all hours of the day and night. I also know this because I can hear them squeaking. Ew. So lately it's sounded like they all scurry about at the same time and then all of the sudden it's like they run into something and get stuck and there's a thunk and then it stops.

Moving on.

So today I learned of a concept that I sort of wish I didn't know. It's called a "Rat King". Thank you ever so much Dave Hill.

I know, it's terrifying. So I learned that a rat king is formed when rats cuddle to keep each other warm and their tails get intertwined and form a knot. They move around like this for a while and then they eventually die. Oh heavens.

Today is halloween. Tonight I will not be going to any costume parties or pumpkin carving, instead I will be spending the evening in my house with my close friends making apple cider and pumpkin bread. All the while answering the door and handing out candy to the ADORABLE children in ghosty costumes. The day is already starting off on the right foot, I walked out side and was greeted with the overwhelming smell of fresh rainfall on thirsty pavement. Coffee and warm scones followed when I went back inside.

This quarter is already zooming past me and that's the way I like it. I am close to half way done and then I'll be a graduate. DONE. Well maybe. Next step? Make some $$$ and build my incredible tree house.
